Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2017 Nissan Maxima- Video
Rob: Rob here, at etrailer.com. Today you're going to be taking a look at the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, on our 2017 Nissan Maxima. Here's what our wiring it's going to look like once we have it installed. Now this is going to provide us with all of our lighting functions, like our taillights, our turn signals and our stoplights, so whenever we're towing a trailer or anything that has lights on it, we'll be able to let everybody know around us, what's going on, and we can safely get down the road.Our four-pole wiring is going to have a dust cap that's permanently attached, so it'll keep out all the dust, debris and moisture from getting inside the connector. However, our wiring is designed to stay on the inside of the car until we're ready to use it. Whenever we do want to tow, we're simply just going to drop our wire out the trunk, we can hook up our trailer and close everything up. more

Speaker 1: Today, in our 2014 Nissan Maxima, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number 56022. Here's what our wiring looks like once we have it installed. It's going to provide us a 4-pole flat trailer connector, which is going to give us all the required lights to get safely down the road, like our taillights, turn signals, and our brake lights. Now. I do want to mention that we did mount our wiring on the outside with these two brackets that are not included, but you can pick them up at etrailer.com. The wiring is designed to stay on the inside of the car and you would open the trunk and drop it down. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Nissan Maxima 118470- Video
Today on our 2014 Nissan Maxima we'll be installing the tow ready T1 vehicle wiring harness with four pole flat trailer connector, part number 118470. We want to use our trailer wiring, we'll just pull it out here, make sure it's not going to get stuck in the latch and we can close our trunk over it. When we're done hooking it to our trailer and we're no longer towing, open our trunk up again, re-secure our connector cover here. We can grab the wires and then we'll just store it here underneath the carpet so it tucks up out of the way, just like that. Here's what our kit consists of, we have our wiring here, with our connectors that will plug into the vehicle's taillight assemblies, so we'll have our working trailer lights. We have this module box here which makes sure there is no back feeding of voltage through the trailer back in the vehicle's lights, or the computer system in the vehicle could cause any damage. We have this roll of wire here, which we'll connect from our module assembly here directly to our vehicle's battery using the included fuse holder and fuse. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2004 Nissan Maxima- Video
All right, today on this 2004 Nissan Maxima we're going to install part number 118470 from Tow Ready. First thing we need to do to install this wiring harness is to go ahead and open the trunk. Now we need to get to behind access to the tail lights. So we need to remove the threshold on the back. Then we can go ahead and peel back the liners on both sides behind the tail lights. Looking at the driver side, we can see our connection point. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Nissan Maxima- Video
Today on our 2008 Nissan Maxima, were gonna install the Curt T-Connector Wiring Kit part number 56022.Now when we got our spare tire components cleared out, we need to remove the rear threshold and the plastic fasteners that secure the carpeting behind both rear taillights.Now you can see we have the access to the wiring behind the driver side taillight. On the driver side, well take the connector that has the yellow, red and brown wire running to it. Were gonna plug this in line with the manufacturers connection. Press on the locking tab, disconnect the two connection points for the manufacturer, well plug our new harness in line with the manufacturers. Next, were gonna take our white wire with the ring terminal and were gonna ground it back here to the sheet metal. Were gonna go back to this sheet metal because this is where the sheet metal overlaps so itll be a little bit thicker and give us a better grounding point.With our ground wire installed, well go ahead and add our two-way adhesive to the back of our converter box. more
